Rick Valicenti and EPIC Team
Rick Valicenti and team have really hit the ground running as they have been driving at the best strategy for CASA of Cook County.
EPIC selected CASA as a client in order to redesign their website, making it more effective in helping this organization fulfill its mission and meet its goals of 1) serving more foster children in Cook County, 2) increasing funding, 3) increasing community awareness about how CASA helps children in the community find safe, permanent homes, and 4) recruiting more volunteers who help abused and neglected children.
As Rick said, “The first EPIC meet and greet was EPIC and more.”
On the first night, Rick asked each team member to identify their own strengths and weaknesses in an effort to open the door for a really fun and smart collaborative team environment. Some designers shared that they are good listeners, love to sketch, are open-minded while others shared that they are organized and love details, are more logical than creative, enjoy networking and connecting people in meaningful ways.
For the second rally meeting, “the team was really, really, really in sync and felt very good,” said Rick. The team collaborated on individual recollections from the first client meeting and began to build a creative brief.
By the end of next week, the team hopes to flesh out the site map and assign tasks that are relevant to each team member’s area of expertise…stay tuned for more!
